I’m entering my 8^th year as head coach along with 15 years as an assistant coach for HS/College boys and girls. A native of (Texas) where I played 3 years HS varsity basketball at Jefferson HS. I also played college basketball for Hill College and Tarleton State University where I played under Coach Lonn Reisman. During my basketball playing career at Hill College, average 10pts and 12 rebs per game, named 2nd Team All-Conference and Conference Most Improved Player (led the conference in rebounding-12 rebs per game).  After being recruited by 20+ colleges and universities, I chose to attend Tarleton State University where I been recruited by one of the best college coaches in Div. II-(Lonn Reisman).   During my years at Tarleton State University, I averaging 16 points and 9 rebounds per game until I was side-lined by injuries.

I also had the opportunity to play basketball in Spain (1997) but due to family issues, I had to decline.  In 2001, I was call up to Pro Hoops Australia Travel Team and was selected 15th out of 85 players (Boise, ID).  I led my team in points (25) and rebounds (14). Major Injuries prevented me from continuing my basketball playing career in route to oversees (Australia).

In my coaching career, I’ve been an assistant men’s basketball coach for Murray State College (OK) and Southwestern Community College (Iowa).  Along with my coaching experiences, my background in (Texas & Oklahoma) also includes years of volunteer service with Special Olympics, Youth Little League Boys and Girls Basketball, Youth Summer League track and field, K-6 Recreation Programs, volunteer/coach summer basketball camps (HS & College Level) and high school boys and girls AAU basketball in Texas/Oklahoma (2A-6A).

I currently hold a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Studies from Tarleton State University. I currently live in Ardmore, OK and work as the Head Girls Basketball Coach/Site Manager/Health Teacher for Ardmore High School. I love cooking, fishing, playing/coaching basketball, and watching NBA/WNBA (SA Spurs/Indiana Fever), college football (OU), (PGA-Tiger Woods) golf, and (ATP-Rafael Nadal-Retired) tennis. Greatest of all, I’m a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs!!!
